The School Readiness program at Pathway is a comprehensive, personalized initiative designed to equip children with diverse needs for success in formal education. This program focuses on developing strong foundations in physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth, ensuring children are prepared for the demands of regular schooling. With the support of qualified Educational Specialists, Speech, and Occupational Therapists, we provide an intensive, 3- or 5-day program that nurtures confidence and encourages a love for learning through hands-on activities, learning tools, and a supportive environment.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Our School Readiness Program is carefully designed to help children transition smoothly into primary school. By addressing each child’s individual developmental needs, we build skills in key areas such as reading, phonics, English language, mathematics, and social thinking. In addition to academic preparation, we strongly emphasize: independence skills, social and emotional development, and the ability to follow daily routines—all essential for long-term success in school.
The program also instills essential values such as self-respect, respect for others, and effective classroom behavior, all of which will be expected from the first day of primary school. Through engaging and structured activities, we guide your child toward becoming a confident and active learner, ready for the transition to school.
